So it begins...
A blog, gee wiz, who'd a thunk!
Jessica will not blog so I am going to dig up her email postings and post it here, maybe put a photo or two into the mix and see what we come up with. She should write a book titled, "My Husband Lost His Mind and Now We Live On a Sailboat!" Who knows, maybe she will?
Here she is the day we did a test sail prior to buying her on July 30th 2010. Ah yes, Jessica is in the photo too!
Her name is no longer "Just Ducky". In the rain, on the hard, on the 22nd day of September in 2010 we renamed her "HAJIME". ( Jess and I are a judoka or judo players and as we age I guess we are teachers too... "hajime" is a Japanese word we use a lot in judo practices and competitions...) She seems to like the name, it means "begin". We named the dinghy "MATE" it means "end or stop..."
